Poll: Mets Road Field Advantage
One thing I love (and probably the only thing I love) about road games in Miami is the fact that nearly 50% of fans in attendance are Mets fans. Combined with the generally light attendance, people tend to roar louder for Mets premier plays than the ones for the Marlins.
This is probably due to a couple of reasons. For one thing, Mets fans travel very well. The 7 Line Army does numerous away outings (I’ve been to the ones in Colorado and Pittsburgh). And whenever the Mets have an important road game, like last years playoff clinching game in the Queen City, we had three thousand plus Mets fans. (Including myself).
So, I’d like to ask you guys a reader poll question. Submit your results below, and if you want to add a note or share a story or moment, let us know in the comments.
