It almost feels like Spring Training is moving along way too fast. The Mets have so many question marks as we move to the starting line. Vic Black was one of those question marks, but it seems like he is good to go. Black threw off flat ground yesterday, and he should be in game action by the weekend, if not sooner. That leaves two weeks before the Opener, which is a lot of time for a relief pitcher or a position player. A starter typically needs three weeks, or four starts. Black will be a vital piece of the Mets young pitching. Along with Jeurys Familia and Jenrry Mejia, Black is one of three young cornerstone relievers that will provide a lot of depth in the Mets bullpen.
