Book Review: Patrick Mullin

First off, I would like to apologize. I posted this last week, the only issue is, it stayed under “preview”. This is my fault, as I never double-checked it. So, without further ado, let’s get this review started!

Patrick begins this e-book with a relatable story, something any high-school or college athlete wants to know. How can I improve my game? Mullin says “Baseball is a funny game”, in the opening page of his short story. This was one of my favorite lines in this book. I too, have had this experience. I’ve messed up, made two errors, and then made such a key play late, that I completely forgot about my mistakes. In one sense, that’s dangerous, but, it does let players know that you can always re-bound with one big game.

What happens if you are  not the clutch hitter or reliever? Well, Patrick gives us great tips and lists on how to get noticed by a college athlete. You know that cliche phrase “Anyone can do it….”? Patrick does a good job putting it into context, and validating that point. I highly recommend this book, even if you have your doubts about playing.
