MLB.com Blogs Central

Latest Leaders logoThe instant classics of this Major League Baseball postseason have given MLB.com Bloggers plenty to write about. Brandon and Brandon can share first-person accounts of October glory, while the brand-new Cardinals Insider is an absolute must-follow as the Redbirds seek their 12th World Series title. (How fast will it take the 11-time world champs to climb this list, currently dominated at the top by Dodgers?) Interestingly, only one of the top 11 MLB.com Beat Reporter blogs — #7 Britt’s Bird Watch — focuses on a team still alive as of this posting. Get in the game and take the first step to making our Latest Leaders by creating your very own MLB.com Blog, powered by WordPress.com.

No I’m not crazy: The 2014 season is NOT over for some Mets

The Mets failed to make the playoffs for the 7th straight year. While the future looks bright for the Mets in 2015, there (might) be more MLB Games with players wearing Mets uniforms in 2014. No I’m not talking about Winter Ball, I’m talking about the MLB-NPB All-Star Series.

This best of 5 extravaganza, features MLB’s best versus NPB’s best. From what I read, they try to include at least one member from each of the thirty ballclubs. But the roster will be only 35 players. So I won’t be surprised if there is no one wearing the camouflage for San Diego. Maybe DeGrom can throw an inning. We shall see.

Terrific Tuesdays: Reflecting on Tom Seaver’s career.
