Jacob was deGrominant

The Mets pitching rotation has truly come to form the last couple of weeks. deGrom was good throughout his first two months but it now seems like he is ready to become a front-end starter. Tuesday’s performance was truly a gem, and was his second 11 strike out game.Only Doc Gooden and Nolan Ryan have achieved such a feat. A call will have to be made on who to take out of the rotation. Matsuzaka was good on Monday, but since he could be a valuable bullpen arm, I would demote Carlyle after the break, and move Dice-K to the pen when Jon Niese comes back from injury.

News&Notes – Dillon Gee comes off the DL to pitch tonight. Germen was sent to AAA.
